Booking & Reservations

How do I book a car service?

You can book online through our website, call us at (347) 321-9929, or email info@blackcarnyc.com. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance for guaranteed availability.

How far in advance should I book?

For regular trips, 24 hours is sufficient. For peak times (holidays, rush hour), book 2-3 days ahead. For special events like weddings, book 2-4 weeks in advance.

Can I book a ride for someone else?

Yes, you can book for anyone. Just provide the passenger's name and contact number. They'll receive pickup details directly.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee. No-shows are charged the full fare.

Can I modify my reservation?

Yes, you can modify pickup time, location, or other details up to 2 hours before scheduled pickup by calling or emailing us.

Pricing & Payment

How is pricing calculated?

We offer flat-rate pricing for airport transfers and point-to-point trips. Hourly service is charged by the hour with a minimum. All prices are quoted upfront with no hidden fees.

Are tolls included in the price?

Yes, all tolls are included in our quoted prices. The price you see is the price you pay—no surprises.

Is gratuity included?

Gratuity is not included in our base fares. Standard tip is 15-20% of the fare. You can tip in cash or add it to your card payment.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), cash, and corporate accounts. Payment is processed after your ride.

Do you offer corporate accounts?

Yes, we offer corporate accounts with consolidated billing, priority booking, and dedicated service. Contact us to set up an account.

Airport Transfers

Do you track my flight?

Yes, we track all flights automatically. If your flight is delayed, your driver adjusts accordingly at no extra charge.

Where will my driver meet me at the airport?

Your driver will meet you inside the terminal at baggage claim holding a sign with your name. You'll receive driver details via text before landing.

What if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight in real-time and adjust pickup time automatically. You won't be charged for flight delays.

How much wait time is included?

Airport pickups include 60 minutes of free wait time from your flight's actual landing time. Additional wait time is charged at $1/minute.

Which airports do you serve?

We serve all NYC area airports: JFK, LaGuardia (LGA), Newark (EWR), Teterboro (TEB), and Westchester (HPN).

Vehicles & Service

What types of vehicles do you offer?

We offer luxury sedans (Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series), SUVs (Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator), and Sprinter vans for groups. All vehicles are late-model, clean, and well-maintained.

How many passengers can you accommodate?

Sedans fit up to 3 passengers, SUVs fit 4-6 passengers, and Sprinter vans accommodate 10-14 passengers. We can arrange multiple vehicles for larger groups.

Can I request a specific vehicle?

Yes, you can request a specific vehicle type when booking. Subject to availability—we recommend booking early for specific vehicle requests.

Do your vehicles have WiFi?

Most of our vehicles have complimentary WiFi. If connectivity is important for your trip, let us know when booking.

Are car seats available for children?

Yes, we provide car seats for infants and children at no extra charge. Please request when booking and specify the child's age/weight.

What areas do you serve?

We serve all five NYC boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island), Long Island, Westchester, Connecticut, New Jersey, and the Hamptons.

Do you offer service outside NYC?

Yes, we provide long-distance service to destinations like the Hamptons, Upstate NY, Connecticut, Philadelphia, and more. Contact us for a quote.

Do you provide hourly service?

Yes, hourly service is available with a 3-hour minimum. Perfect for meetings, shopping, events, or city tours with multiple stops.
