Southampton Car Service - Old Hamptons Money Premium Transportation

Southampton set the template every other Hamptons village copied. The summer colony here predates the scene further east by generations — shingled estates behind privet on First Neck Lane and Gin Lane, Coopers Beach at the foot of Meadow Lane, Jobs Lane boutiques a short stroll from a village core settled in 1640. Wealth in Southampton is inherited more often than announced, and the standard it expects of service providers is quietly absolute.

A quoted price that moves is, by that standard, a failure. Ours does not: the flat rate you book is the rate you pay, whether your chauffeur collects you on a gridlocked Friday in July or a silent Tuesday in February.

Serving Southampton Village, Water Mill, Bridgehampton

Bridgehampton: Polo fields, racing heritage, restaurants, country clubs.

Meadow Lane, the Cannonball, and the Drive from Manhattan

Meadow Lane is Southampton's signature address — a narrow barrier strip between the Atlantic and Shinnecock Bay where oceanfront compounds run out toward the inlet. Pickups here are a fixture of our summer schedule, along with Gin Lane, Halsey Neck, and the estate blocks south of the highway. Chauffeurs arrive knowing the house, not hunting for it.

Southampton does have alternatives. The LIRR stops north of the village, and on summer Fridays the Cannonball express makes the run from Penn Station without a change at Jamaica. The Hampton Jitney picks up along Route 27. Both get you to Southampton; neither delivers you to a Meadow Lane driveway with golf clubs, a dog crate, and a weekend's luggage. That last-mile problem is precisely what a private car erases.

Timing is the other variable. Manhattan to Southampton takes about two hours in the off-season and can stretch toward three once Memorial Day flips the switch — the single-file crawl on County Road 39 past the college is where summer Fridays go to die. We plan departures around the peaks and route around whatever can be routed around.
